Healthcare organizations and institutes are now turning to population healthcare management in an extensive fashion to cater to the rising demand for better healthcare systems and solutions. The life expectancy has risen considerably in the last two decades, hence, the number of the old-age population has increased. According to the United Nations’ World Population Prospects (2017), Compared to 2017, the number of persons aged 60 or above is expected to more than double by 2050 and to more than triple by 2100, rising from 962 million globally in 2017 to 2.1 billion in 2050 and 3.1 billion in 2100. The increasing number of ageing populaion has increased the number of age-related diseases and thus, the demand for population health solutions has risen drastically.
